Connaissez-vous la fleur nationale officielle d'Israël ?
Il s'agit du Cyclamen persicum ou Cyclamen de Perse. Dans l’antiquité, cette fleur fut reconnue pour ses vertus thérapeutiques, en raison de la cyclamine, une substance amère aux pouvoirs purgatifs présente dans le cyclamen. Elle est un remède de base en homéopathie contre la dépression, les douleurs passagères, ou en cas de malaise.
Israël, juste derrière la Silicon Valley
La réponse d’Israël à la Silicon Valley est la Silicon Wadi, une zone regroupant une forte concentration d'industries high-tech qui rivalisent avec la Silicon Valley. Avec plus de 4,000 startups high-tech en son sein, dont environ 3000 sont concentrées dans un rayon de 16 km seulement, Israël détient le record de la plus forte concentration d’entreprises de ce type dans le monde après la Silicon Valley.

un avenir optimiste pour les exportations israéliennes...
Selon l’IEIC (Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute), les exportations israéliennes, en hausse de 6% durant le premier semestre 2017, ont rapporté plus de 50 milliards de dollars au pays rien que durant cette période laissant présager un avenir plus qu'optimiste pour 2018...

David Grossman, lauréat du prix Israël
David Grossman, l’un des auteurs les plus talentueux du pays, va recevoir le prestigieux prix Israël. Le jury a déclaré lui avoir attribué ce prix car il est sans conteste l’une “des voix les plus profondes, les plus excitantes et les plus influentes de la littérature israélienne”. Son dernier livre, Un cheval entre dans un bar, est le premier roman israélien à avoir reçu le prix international Man Booker.

première femme gradée au rang de Général
En 2011, Orna Barbivai* est devenue la première femme à obtenir le grade de Général, le deuxième plus élevé de Tsahal.
